Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Tyre Fitter in the United Kingdom, starting with a 6–12 month Technician training program. You’ll learn to fit and repair tyres across car, van, truck, agricultural and earthmover fleets, with mentoring from our Training Team.

This mobile role provides a van, tools and PPE, and an uncapped bonus scheme with overtime and call-out rates. We offer career opportunities, benefits, and generous discounts across Halfords and Autocentres.

Qualifications

• Interest in automotive industry and willingness to obtain relevant qualifications.
• Full, current driving licence is required.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Complete technician training program lasting 6–12 months.
• Learn to fit and repair tyres for car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover.
• Provide customer-focused service and work overtime as needed.
• Be mentored by an experienced colleague and supported by a training team.

Skills & Experience

• Passion for working in the automotive industry and willing to obtain the relevant qualifications
• Strong customer service skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime.
• Must possess a full, current driving licence
