Job summary

Halfords is recruiting a Vehicle Tyre Fitter in Basingstoke, Hampshire. This full-time role offers a structured Technician training program lasting 6–12 months, mentorship from experienced colleagues, and nationwide career opportunities.

You will learn to fit and repair tyres for cars, vans, trucks, and more, maintain a customer-focused approach, and enjoy benefits such as an uncapped bonus scheme and mobile role equipment.

Qualifications

• Passion for automotive industry and willingness to obtain relevant qualifications.
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime.
• Must possess a full, current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete technician training program lasting 6–12 months.
• Be mentored by an experienced colleague and supported by Training Team.
• Learn to fit and repair tyres including car, van, truck, agricultural, industrial and earthmover.
• Adopt a customer service focus in everything you do.
