Job Description:

Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer based in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure 24/7.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll join a team of Traffic Signal specialists in Oxfordshire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region.

What you’ll do:

Work alongside experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test Traffic Signals and related electrical equipment in Oxfordshire.

Training involves on-the-job learning, aiming for an NVQ in Electrical Installations and certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.

Who you are:

Interested in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance, with some exposure to electrical work through courses or experience.

Key Requirements:

• Motivated and eager to learn both on the job and online
• Experience or qualification in electrical testing, maintenance, or installation
• Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
• Full UK Driving Licence and residency in Oxfordshire
• Willing to undergo Drugs & Alcohol testing
