Reporting into the Contract Manager, the Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will join a talented team of Traffic Signals specialists in the Oxfordshire region. Due to growth and demand from our customer(s), we are in a position to grow our Traffic team in this region.
What you’ll do:
As a Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with an experienced Traffic Engineer to troubleshoot, fix, maintain, and test Traffic Signals / Traffic Lights and related electrical equipment in and around Oxfordshire.
Training is a mix of on-the-job learning, providing you with an opportunity to work towards an NVQ in Electrical Installations and sector-based certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Who you are:
You have an interest in troubleshooting, fixing, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, with some exposure to outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection boxes, telecommunications/radio equipment, or have completed related college courses or diplomas.
