Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer Oxfordshire, United Kingdom (On-site)

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will join a team of Traffic Signals specialists in Oxfordshire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region.

What you’ll do:

Work closely with experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test Traffic Signals, Lights, and related electrical equipment around Oxfordshire.

Training involves on-the-job learning, aiming for an NVQ in Electrical Installations and certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.

Who you are:

Interested in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance, with some exposure to electrical work via courses or experience with outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection boxes, telecommunications, or radio equipment.

Key Requirements:

• Motivated to learn through on-the-job and online training
• Experience in electrical testing, maintenance, or related coursework/diplomas
• Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and troubleshoot faults
• Full UK Driving Licence and residence in Oxfordshire
• Willing to undertake Drugs & Alcohol testing for compliance
