Job summary

Berry Recruitment is recruiting for a Trainee Sales Development Representative in Banbury. The role is hybrid (2 days from home: Thursday and Friday) with standard hours and a base salary of £24,500 per year plus incentives.

You will undergo 6–8 weeks of training and engage in proactive prospecting, discovery calls, and campaign management to generate qualified meetings with IT professionals.

Qualifications

• 6 months' office-based experience.
• Experience in sales, customer service or a high-activity environment.
• Interest in Technology and the IT Channel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Strategic prospecting: daily high-volume activity including cold calling and personalised emails to schedule meetings with IT professionals.
• Qualify opportunities through high-level discovery conversations.
• Campaign management for world-class IT vendors and their roadmaps/certifications.
• CRM discipline: maintain 100% accurate and clean records in the CRM.
• Attend on-site and virtual training sessions for development.
• Register contacts for industry events and manage campaign briefs.
