We are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND needs in a school setting.

About The Role

SEND Teaching Assistant (Full time)

Location: Aylesbury

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support children either 1-1 or in small groups within a SEND environment. Working as part of an established team, this role is Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30.

Our partner federation in Aylesbury offers an ambitious and supportive curriculum for students across key stages 1-5, including those with Complex needs, PMLD, SLD, autism spectrum condition (ASC), ADHD, SLCN, trauma, and attachment disorders. The school provides excellent facilities and resources to help students achieve their full potential according to their EHCPs.

Requirements

• Experience working with SEND children or in a care/support work role
• A caring and positive attitude
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and young people
• Understanding of the importance of safeguarding
• Willing to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service
