Job summary

Northumbria University partners with South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner for CYPMHS across Sunderland, South Tyneside or Gateshead.

The role delivers evidence-based psychological therapies to children and young people while training for the Post Graduate Diploma in Evidence Based Psychological Therapies (Systemic Family Practice) within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Experience in CYP mental health service delivery.
• Experience in assessment and treatment for children, young people and families.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare promotion for children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Utilise universal and specialist CYPMHS knowledge in practice.
• Publish clear reports and correspondence with high standards.
• Engage vulnerable and underserved populations.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
