NHS Jobs in Sunderland is seeking a Trainee Children & Young People Systemic Family Practitioner to join the CYPMHS team. You will work across local Sunderland, South Tyneside or Gateshead localities and deliver systemic family interventions.

You will apply evidence-based interventions (Systemic Family Practice) with children, young people, and families from diverse backgrounds and complete the Post Graduate Diploma within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

• Work as a member of the Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS).
• Deliver systemic family interventions to children, young people and families.
• Use evidence-based interventions per clinical training (Systemic Family Practice).
• Work with diverse cultural backgrounds; use interpreters when necessary.
• Meet targets set within the service and undertake training within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide training in systemic family practice to staff and colleagues.
• Collaborate with local CYPMHS locality teams in Sunderland, South Tyneside or Gateshead.
• Complete the Post Graduate Diploma in Evidence Based Psychological Therapies within 12 months.
