Job summary

FM Conway is looking to recruit a Trainee Supervisor to join the Aggregate and Asphalt division based in Chelsfield. As our Trainee Supervisor you will learn how to run a busy recycling depot from the current supervisor, ordering parts, supporting a day and night team, looking after the team of engineers, allocating payment to customers and being the face of a busy depot.

This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract subject to permanent employment at the end of your contract, working

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Team player with good communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of materials and quick problem spotting.
• Support a day and night shift team.
• Learn the weighbridge operations.
• Organise payments to suppliers to ensure timely payments.
• Assist the recycling manager with depot duties.
• Organise parts with suppliers and raise POs.
• Coordinate maintenance with engineers across the depot.
• End of month reporting.

FM Conway is looking to recruit a Trainee Supervisor to join the Aggregate and Asphalt division based in Chelsfield. As our Trainee Supervisor you will learn how to run a busy recycling depot from the current supervisor, ordering parts, supporting a day and night team, looking after the team of engineers, allocating payment to customers and being the face of a busy depot. This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract subject to permanent employment at the end of your contract, working Monday- Friday, 07:30am-4:30pm.

Duties of the Trainee Supervisor role will include:

• + Quality control of materials being quick and efficient to spot a problem if one arises
• + Support a team across day and night shifts
• + Learn the role of the weighbridge
• + Organise payment to suppliers to ensure they are paid correctly and on time
• + Assist the recycling manager with duties within the depot
• + Organising parts with suppliers, raising po's and organising fitting when they have arrived on site
• + Work closely with the team of engineers to organise maintenance across the depot
• + End of month reporting

We are looking for candidates who are willing to learn and hold a full UK driving license. To be considered for this role it is essential that you are a team player, with good verbal and written communication skills as well as IT skills.
