Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a qualified Stairlift Engineer to cover Birmingham and surrounding areas. The role is full-time with a salary up to £44,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience.

Working hours are 8:00–16:45 Mon–Thu and 8:00–15:45 Friday, with a strong focus on servicing, maintenance and repairs of stairlifts and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent, proven stairlift (domestic) engineering experience, and a valid UK

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent preferred; training offered for right candidate
• Proven experience as Stairlift/Domestic Engineer in the lift industry
• UK driving licence required and a passion for excellent customer service

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, repair and call-out visits on stairlifts and home lifts
• Ensure high-quality service and safety standards
• Perform risk assessments and maintain site log cards
• Participate in on-call rota with standby allowance and call-out payments

The ideal Stairlift Engineer will have proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry, and you must have at least a NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent .

This job is to cover a route across Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Working Hours: 8:00 - 4.45 Mon to Thursday and 8 - 3.45 Friday

Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on various types of Stairlifts and home lifts
• Ensure high-quality service and safety standards.
• Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
• Participate in our on-call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

Stairlift Engineer Requirements:

• An NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent preferred but we will train to the NVQ level 2 for the right candidate.
• Proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry
• A valid UK driving licence.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service
