NHS Scotland is seeking a part-time Trainee Specialist Community Public Health Nurse/School Nurse to join their team in Tayside. NHS Tayside has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse to join our School Nurse Team. We currently have a part-time position of 30 hours available within Tayside. The post holder will be accountable for a delegated workload and work as part of a team. You will work in partnership with children, young people, families, and multiagency colleagues to identify and support health needs for a designated population group, based on the principles of Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) National Practice Model. Candidates should have an awareness of child protection systems and be expected to provide accessible, safe, effective, person-centred care as part of the School Nursing Service. Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills along with knowledge of IT systems are essential.
