Job summary

Lovell is seeking a Trainee Site Manager for Pendleton, Salford to join our North West team. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist with day-to-day site management tasks, keeping areas clean and presented to the public.

You will participate in an extensive training programme, develop understanding of programme requirements, NHBC regulations and health and safety compliance, and liaise with inspectors and supply chain to support delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic awareness of NHBC Regulations and Building Regulations
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and environmental considerations
• Understanding of structural principles and good trade practice
• Ambition to learn and progress in construction industry

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of site management tasks and keep the site tidy and presented.
• Assist the Site Manager with programme requirements and their implementation.
• Liaise with NHBC, Building Control, Highways and Water Authority Inspectors to ensure compliance and programme.
• Support health, safety and environmental matters and assist with statutory forms and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supply chain, Lovell departments, clients and customers.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with document management systems.
