Job summary

Lovell Partnerships Ltd in Salford invites applications for a Trainee Site Manager to join our North West team in Pendleton. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will help with site management tasks, ensuring the site remains tidy and presentable to the public.

An extensive training programme and on-the-job development will help you learn about implementing programmes, liaising with inspectors, health and safety, and coordinating with supply chains and clients.

Qualifications

• Basic awareness of NHBC Regulations and Building Regulations.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and Environmental Regulations.
• Willingness to learn and develop in construction.
• Enthusiastic with ambition to progress a career with Lovell.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site management tasks and help keep the site tidy and presented to the public.
• Assist the Site Manager in implementing the programme requirements.
• Liaise with NHBC, Building Control, Highways and Water Authority Inspectors to ensure technical compliance and programme.
• Support health, safety, and environmental matters including statutory forms and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with our supply chain, other Lovell departments, and our clients and customers.
• Support quality control and document management system compliance.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious Trainee Site Manager to join our team within Lovell’s North West region working in Pendleton, Salford.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Trainee Site Manager will carry out a variety of site management tasks, ensuring the site is kept tidy and presented to the public in a clean, tidy manner.

An extensive training programme will be offered as well as on the job development to help you with key aspects of the role such as:

• Understanding the programme requirements of the site, whilst assisting the Site Manager in its implementation.
• Liaising with NHBC, Building Control, Highways and Water Authority Inspectors to ensure technical compliance and programme.
• Health, safety, and environmental matters will be a key part of your responsibilities including assisting with all statutory forms and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with our supply chain, other Lovell departments, and our clients and customers.
• Quality control and compliance with our document management system.
