Job summary

Lovell is seeking a Trainee Site Manager for the North West region, based in Pendleton, Salford. You will report to the Site Manager and support a range of site management tasks while the site is kept tidy and presented to the public in a professional manner.

The role includes an extensive training programme and on-the-job development to cover regulatory compliance, health and safety, and effective communication with supply chains and clients.

Qualifications

• Basic awareness of NHBC Regulations, Building Regulations and good trade practice.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and Environmental Regulations.
• Understanding of structural principles.
• Enthusiastic with drive to learn and progress in Lovell.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site management tasks under the Site Manager.
• Keep the site tidy and presented to the public in a clean, tidy manner.
• Liaise with inspectors (NHBC, Building Control, Highways, Water Authority) to ensure compliance.
• Communicate effectively with supply chain, Lovell departments, clients and customers.
• Support quality control and document management.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious Trainee Site Manager to join our team within Lovell s North West region working in Pendleton, Salford.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Trainee Site Manager will carry out a variety of site management tasks, ensuring the site is kept tidy and presented to the public in a clean, tidy manner.

An extensive training programme will be offered as well as on the job development to help you with key aspects of the role such as:

• Understanding the programme requirements of the site, whilst assisting the Site Manager in its implementation.
• Liaising with NHBC, Building Control, Highways and Water Authority Inspectors to ensure technical compliance and programme.
• Health, safety, and environmental matters will be a key part of your responsibilities including assisting with all statutory forms and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with our supply chain, other Lovell departments, and our clients and customers.
• Quality control and compliance with our document management system.
