Job summary

The Lovell is seeking a Trainee Site Manager for a permanent role in Pendleton, Salford, North West. You will support the Site Manager with a range of site tasks and help keep the site tidy and presentable to the public.

An extensive training programme will be provided to cover NHBC and Building Regulations, Health & Safety, and coordination with inspectors, supply chain and clients. You will gain practical experience in quality control and document management while developing your construction

Qualifications

• Basic awareness of NHBC Regulations and Building Regulations.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and Environmental Regulations.
• Understanding of structural principles relevant to site work.
• Enthusiastic with drive to learn and progress in construction roles.
• Willingness to liaise with inspectors, supply chain and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with day-to-day site management tasks to keep the site tidy and presentable.
• Liaise with NHBC, Building Control, Highways and Water Authority Inspectors to ensure technical compliance and programme.
• Support health, safety and environmental compliance, including assisting with statutory forms and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supply chain, Lovell departments, and clients/customers.
• Support quality control and ensure document management systems are followed.
