Job summary

Knightwood Associates is seeking a Trainee Site Manager to join their residential development team across the Milton Keynes / Northamptonshire area. You will support the Site Manager and Assistant, learning to coordinate trades, carry out quality checks, and help manage health and safety on site, deliveries, and the programme.

The ideal candidate has around one year's experience, experience on volume housing sites is advantageous, and a genuine desire to progress into site management.

Qualifications

• Around 1 year's experience as a Trainee Site Manager, ideally within residential construction.
• Previous experience working on volume housing sites would be advantageous.
• Genuine interest in progressing into site management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager with the day-to-day running of site.

I'm currently working with a well-established residential developer who is looking to appoint a Trainee Site Manager to join their team across the Milton Keynes / Northamptonshire area. Ideally, they would like to speak with someone who has already gained around a year's experience in a Trainee Site Manager position with another housebuilder or residential developer. That said, they are also open to considering people with less or no direct site management experience who are keen to build a long-term career within construction. Experience of working on volume housing sites would be particularly beneficial.

The role will involve:

• Supporting the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager with the day-to-day running of site
• Learning how to coordinate trades and subcontractors
