Job summary

Andrew Construction Limited in Cambridgeshire invites applications for a Trainee Assistant Site Manager. If you're coming off the tools and eager to move into site management, this role offers hands-on experience across busy residential developments with structured training and mentoring.

You'll work with experienced Site Managers, coordinate subcontractors, promote health and safety, and develop essential skills in programmes, sequencing and site logistics, paving a clear path to progression

Qualifications

  • Holds a valid CSCS Card.
  • Experience in a construction trade or on residential building sites.
  • Is eager to move from a trade into site management.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy to travel between sites across Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of live housing developments.
  • Supporting the Site Manager to deliver homes safely, on programme and to a high standard.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site.
  • Carrying out quality inspections and snagging.
  • Promoting excellent health and safety practices.
  • Learning construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics.
  • Ensuring high standards of workmanship are maintained throughout the build.

The Role

As a Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you'll work alongside experienced Site Managers, learning how to successfully manage busy residential construction sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of live housing developments.

About You
