Sonic Security Services Ltd is seeking a Trainee Security Systems Engineer to join our team in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The role focuses on learning to install, service, maintain and fault-find CCTV and access control systems at customer premises.

Starting salary is £27,476.80 per year with progression as skills develop; training provided with opportunities to advance toward independent work as a Security Systems Engineer. Travel to Northamptonshire and surrounding areas required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing and commissioning electronic security systems.
• Help service, maintain and fault-find existing systems.
• Learn to work safely and to industry standards.
• Work at height using ladders, steps and access equipment with training.
• Complete job sheets and documentation accurately.
• Communicate professionally with commercial customers.
• Care for company equipment, tools and premises.
• Attend training courses and apply new skills.
