Job summary

ADS Construction Personnel Ltd in Corby is offering a Trainee Roofing Estimator / Surveyor role with full training from an experienced commercial team. Based between the Corby office and project sites, you will learn estimating and surveying across refurbishment and flat roofing schemes from £50,000 to £3 million.

National travel to project sites is part of the role, with salary negotiable depending on experience, and a 10% discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• No prior roofing experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help with quantity take-offs, measurements and site surveys
• Prepare tender documents, pricing schedules and cost plans with support from the team
• Request and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Assist with scope summaries, tender clarifications and value engineering
• Visit sites to check progress, verify quantities and record variations
• Support roofing and refurbishment tenders across education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public sector projects
• Issue procurement enquiries and keep commercial trackers, drawings and schedules up to date

Education
