Job summary

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Trainee Contracts Manager/Assistant Contracts Manager for roofing in Corby. The role combines office coordination with site delivery and offers a clear progression path into contracts management.

You will work alongside experienced Managers, travel nationally to project sites, and gain practical experience across projects from £50,000 to £3 million in education, healthcare, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

Hands-on construction site experience required.
Understanding of how sites are planned and delivered.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic software used on projects.

Responsibilities

Support Contracts Managers with day-to-day running of roofing and refurbishment projects.
Help plan labour, materials, deliveries and subcontractors.
Attend sites to monitor progress, quality and health and safety.
Liaise with site teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Assist with programmes, project updates, site records and progress reports.
Help resolve practical site issues and keep works moving to programme.
Keep project information, drawings, schedules and commercial records up to date.
