Job Description

We are looking for a Trainee Revenue Manager to support our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in revenue reporting and learn best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Revenue Management Strategies: Implement overall revenue management strategies within the defined portfolio, serving as a subject matter expert to hotel teams to ensure global strategies are executed.
  2. Main Tasks: Deliver services per contracted agreements, focusing on customer satisfaction. Develop hotel-specific strategies to boost revenue and maximize KPIs using the C.A.D.R.E method (Collection, Analysis, Decision, Recommendation, Evaluation). Ensure revenue management systems are properly maintained and plan/pricing are current for at least the next 405 days.
  3. Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors’ content, pricing, and strategies. Review market share data to outperform the hotel market.
  4. Forecasting: Create short- and long-term revenue forecasts, identifying opportunities and strategies to enhance revenue and profitability.
  5. Reports & Meetings: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Conduct meetings as per hotel service levels and analyze special event periods to improve future results.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in the tourism industry.
  2. 2-4 years of experience in a rooms division position.
  3. Proactivity, persuasion, flexibility, adaptability, customer focus, strong communication skills, team support and development, analytical and strategic thinking, and proficiency in spoken and written English.
