Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services UK is recruiting a Trainee Retrofit Coordinator in Livingston. Join a driven energy services team and receive expert guidance to develop into a qualified Retrofit Coordinator leading projects under publicly funded frameworks.

You'll work with Retrofit Assessors and Coordinators to ensure PAS2035 compliance, help select retrofit measures, and support customers across Scotland, contributing to sustainable homes and Net Zero goals through hands-on training and career

Qualifications

• Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn with strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in construction or energy efficiency is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Passionate about sustainability, energy efficiency, and renewables, with a desire to support Net Zero objectives.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Retrofit Assessors, Coordinators, and the Energy Efficiency team, supporting documentation for PAS2035 compliance.
• Collaborate with Retrofit Coordinators to deliver domestic energy efficiency improvements across various property types and scopes.
• Support the identification and selection of effective retrofit measures for each property.
• Ensure recommendations align to maximise savings, improve energy performance, and reduce carbon emissions.

Key tasks and activities

• Liaise closely with Retrofit Assessors, Coordinators, and the wider Energy Efficiency team, supporting the preparation and management of documentation and evidence for each project to ensure full compliance with PAS2035 standards.
• Collaborate with Retrofit Coordinators to deliver sustainable domestic energy efficiency improvements across a range of property types and project scopes.
• Support the identification and selection of the most effective and commercially viable retrofit measures for each property.
• Ensure all recommendations are aligned to deliver:
  • Maximum fuel bill savings for customers and clients
  • Improved energy performance of homes and buildings
  • Reduced carbon emissions and environmental impact, supporting our journey to Net Zero
