Job summary

Brett Group is seeking a proactive site operations colleague to assist in managing day-to-day activities, ensuring safety and efficiency across operations. You will gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of site management and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasises strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to high safety, environmental, and quality standards within a busy operational setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in recycling, waste management, aggregates, quarrying or similar operational environment.
• Aiming to develop a career in operational management.
• Team player comfortable in office and on site.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships.
• Ability to stay focused and organised in busy environment.
• Experience or willingness to learn site administration, record keeping and performance monitoring.
• Self-motivated with ownership of responsibilities and proactive approach.
• Commitment to safety, health, environment and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Assist in driving continuous improvement through planning, organisation and performance monitoring.
• Develop understanding of all aspects of operation through hands-on site management.
• Monitor incoming waste streams and liaise with departments on quality and compliance.
• Promote and contribute to a positive SHEQ culture and ensure procedures are followed.
