Job summary

OJ Digital is seeking an ambitious individual to join an established recruitment business and build a career in this industry in the Thame area.

You do not need prior recruitment experience. You’ll start by candidate sourcing, learning how to identify, approach and engage talent while gaining a solid understanding of the recruitment process. This role is a stepping stone toward managing your own desk as you grow.

We’re looking for an ambitious and confident individual to join an established recruitment business and build a career in the industry.

You do not need previous recruitment experience. You’ll initially focus on candidate sourcing, learning how to identify, approach and engage talented people while developing a strong understanding of the recruitment process.

This is designed as a stepping stone into a full Recruitment Consultant position. As your experience and confidence grow, you’ll quickly take on more responsibility, ultimately managing candidates, clients and your own recruitment desk.

Responsibilities

Recruitment experience is not essential. We’re much more interested in finding someone with the right personality, attitude and potential.

• Previous experience in sales, telephone work, customer service or another role involving regular customer interaction
• Confident speaking to people on the phone and approaching people you don’t know
• Comfortable using computers, databases and online systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• A commercial mindset and motivation to work towards targets
• Resilience and the ability to handle rejection and setbacks
• Ambition to develop quickly and build a long-term career in recruitment
• Living within a reasonable commuting distance of Thame
• Expected total earnings of around £45,000 by Year 2
• Potential to earn £60,000+ by Year 3
• Clear progression into a full Recruitment Consultant position
