Job summary

Stirling Warrington in Leicester is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Located near the Space Centre, the role offers a strong starting salary with two opportunities for pay increases in Year 1, and full training to develop a fast-track sales career in engineering recruitment.

Core duties include building a candidate pool, sourcing clients, filling vacancies and visiting customers on-site. Expect high activity and a results-driven environment with clear progression paths to six figures

Responsibilities

• Prospect manufacturers in the area to build a client portfolio.
• Fill vacancies using candidate pools, databases and job boards.
• Visit clients on-site to understand their business needs and required profiles.

The Job

• Building a candidate pool-Speaking to hundreds of candidates every month to understand who's who in your market. Expect around 60 outbound calls a day to start, with the goal of connecting with every relevant candidate in your area.
• Building a client portfolio- Prospecting every manufacturer in your area hiring engineers, and selling in both candidates and our services. Expect a minimum of 50 outbound dials a day.
• Filling vacancies- Using your candidate pool, our database, and job adverts across all major job boards to match the right people to the right roles.
• Visiting clients-Getting out to see clients on-site, understanding their business and processes, and knowing exactly the kind of person they need. This is a fast-paced, target-driven, phone-based role. It's genuinely rewarding — but like any sales career, it takes hard work, resilience and commitment to get there.
