Job summary

Stirling Warrington is recruiting a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join its Leicester office. You will develop a candidate pool, build client relationships, and fill vacancies for engineering clients in the Midlands.

This is a fast-paced, target-driven, phone-based role with full training and clear earning potential. Expect to start with around 60 outbound calls per day, with several pay-rise opportunities in Year 1.

Responsibilities

• Building a candidate pool by making around 60 outbound calls per day to identify relevant candidates.
• Building a client portfolio by prospecting manufacturers in your area and selling both candidates and services.
• Filling vacancies using the candidate pool, database, and job adverts across major boards.
• Visiting clients on-site to understand their business and the exact person they need.

The Job

• Building a candidate pool - Speaking to hundreds of candidates every month to understand who's who in your market. Expect around 60 outbound calls a day to start, with the goal of connecting with every relevant candidate in your area.
• Building a client portfolio - Prospecting every manufacturer in your area hiring engineers, and selling in both candidates and our services. Expect a minimum of 50 outbound dials a day.
• Filling vacancies - Using your candidate pool, our database, and job adverts across all major job boards to match the right people to the right roles.
• Visiting clients - Getting out to see clients on-site, understanding their business and processes, and knowing exactly the kind of person they need.

This is a fast-paced, target-driven, phone-based role. It's genuinely rewarding but like any sales career, it takes hard work, resilience and commitment to get there.
