Proposed interview dates are in the first week of July 2025, likely conducted online across multiple days that week.

There will be separate adverts for different locations across Dorset. Please apply only for one advert indicating your preferred location. If shortlisted, you will only be interviewed for that area. If you have no preference, please select only one.

Applications from candidates requiring current Healthcare Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are ineligible.

Steps to Wellbeing is a busy, dynamic service with a friendly, supportive team of qualified clinicians and trainees.

The role is both demanding and rewarding; it involves providing psychological interventions to individuals with mild to moderate common mental health issues in primary care. We seek enthusiastic and passionate applicants with good administrative, time management, and communication skills. NHS or similar experience is highly desirable.

The position includes academic training provided and accredited by the University of Exeter, with time split between study and on-the-job training, focusing on CBT-based self-management for anxiety and depression using a stepped-care approach. All trainees will receive intensive supervision and support. This is a full-time role; part-time applications cannot be considered due to university commitments. The role requires face-to-face/office work and at least one evening per week (until 8 pm).
