Job summary

The NHS Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is offering a Band 4 Annexe 21 apprenticeship for a Pharmacy Technician role at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The post is fixed-term for 24 months, with training to register as a pharmacy technician and study for the Level 4 certificate.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSEs including English, Maths and Science.
• Willing to travel between sites and attend study days.
• Willing to work full-time 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in hospital pharmacy dispensing for in-patients and out-patients.
• Participate in medicines management and medicines optimisation.
• Complete the Level 4 Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice.
