Job summary

Boots is looking for a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist, greet customers, dispense prescriptions, and help ensure safe sale of medicines while you complete NVQ2 training.

This is an in-store role with full training provided; remote applicants are not considered and UK right to work is required. Opportunities to progress toward Pharmacy Technician and leadership roles are available.

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 training programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
