Boots is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, giving patient advice, and helping to deliver safe, high-quality pharmacy services while you complete your NVQ2 Dispenser training.

No previous experience is required as full training is provided. The role is based in-store in the UK, with a clear path to future career development within Boots.

Qualifications

• Complete Training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions and ensure safe supply of medicines.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• UK right to work is required; sponsorship not offered.

Responsabilités

• Complete your training for the NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe medicine supply.
• Collaborate with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide patient care and advice about medicines; escalate to Pharmacist as needed.
• Adhere to SOPs for safe, legal dispensing.
• Keep up to date with store systems and processes.
• Support patients with repeats and adherence to reduce waste.
