Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting a Trainee Dispenser to support the pharmacist and in-store healthcare team, assisting with dispensing prescriptions and patient advice to ensure safe, effective medicines delivery.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, including the NVQ2 dispenser program. You will complete NVQ2 training while delivering high-quality patient care and developing your pharmacy career in-store across UK locations.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work (not sponsorship eligible).

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with other healthcare professionals to assist in delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines effectively to promote adherence.
