Job summary

Boots in the UK is offering a Trainee Dispenser role within a store environment. You will support the pharmacist and health professionals, dispensing prescriptions and giving medicines advice while completing your NVQ2 Dispenser training.

This in-store role requires no prior experience and includes full training; applicants must have UK right to work and the role is UK-based. Training progression to Pharmacy Technician or leadership opportunities is possible.

Qualifications

• Full training provided.
• Completion of Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the NVQ2 programme.
• Dispense prescriptions with safe supply of medicines.
• Assist pharmacists and healthcare professionals in store.
• Advise patients on medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs for safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Stay updated with new store technologies and processes.
• Support patients in managing repeats and adherence.
