Cohens Chemist in Ashton-under-Lyne is recruiting a part-time Trainee Pharmacy Assistant for a 25.5-hour week at our 499-branch on 2 Albion Street, OL6 6HF. You'll dispense and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, assist with stock ordering, and learn through the Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing.

The role suits someone with customer service experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while progressing in our business.

Descrizione del lavoro

Duties will include the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop. This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress. The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, you will also have a desire to learn and progress your career in our business.

We are looking to recruit a 25.5-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 499-branch located at 2 Albion Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 6HF.

Proposed shift pattern

• Wednesday 08:30-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 08:30-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 08:30-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
