Cohens Chemist in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a 25.5-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract for our 499-branch network. You will learn dispensing, labeling under supervision, and progress toward NVQ level 2 in Dispensing.

The role suits someone with customer service experience who is eager to undertake the relevant training to advance within our business and pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Willing to undertake relevant training to progress.
• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and label prescription items under Pharmacist guidance.
• Assist with stock ordering and management in dispensary and shop.
• Maintain high accuracy, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service as part of a well‑established team.
