Specsavers Berwick is seeking a proactive Trainee Lab Technician to support end-to-end optical lens production. You will learn to prepare lenses and frames, use computer-controlled equipment, and perform quality checks with care to maximise customer satisfaction.

The role offers training and development, part-time hours on Saturdays and Sundays, and benefits including pension enrollment and staff perks through Specsavers Perks. No prior experience necessary; a positive attitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Read prescription lenses and frame specifications.
• Use blocking and glazing machines to cut lenses.
• Assemble lenses into frames.
• Tint lenses for UV protection and color options.
• Order frames and lenses as required.
• Quality check finished glasses.
• Maintain good housekeeping and machine maintenance.
