Job summary

Specsavers Bybrook store in Ashford is recruiting a Trainee Optical Assistant to join a friendly team and deliver excellent customer service.

You don’t need prior optics experience—full training and development are provided, with a focus on patient care, teamwork and confidence using IT systems. The role is full-time, 40 hours including weekend work, with pension enrollment and employee perks.

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.

Our store

Located within Sainsbury’s at Bybrook, our Specsavers store provides a friendly, professional service to the local community. We offer a wide range of eye and hearing care services, including adult and children’s eye tests, OCT 3D eye scanning, contact lens services, hearing tests, hearing aids and hearing aid aftercare. Our team is passionate about delivering excellent customer care and high-quality clinical services, helping customers look after their vision and hearing.
