Specsavers Longbridge in Birmingham is offering a Trainee Optical Assistant role designed for those starting a career in optics.

No prior experience required; you’ll receive full training and support from experienced Opticians and Technicians while welcoming customers, booking eye tests, and offering style advice.

The role can be full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time (30 hours over four days, including a weekend day), with pension auto-enrolment and clear career development opportunities.

Located in the popular Longbridge town centre development, Specsavers Longbridge benefits from a high-profile position within a busy retail destination, attracting a steady flow of customers throughout the day. The store is easily accessible by both car and public transport, with Longbridge railway station just a short walk away and excellent bus links serving the surrounding areas. There is also convenient on-site parking available nearby. As part of a modern and customer-focused store, you'll have the opportunity to support a diverse range of patients while working in a fast-paced and rewarding retail healthcare environment.
