Job summary

Arthrex is hiring a Trainee Operative for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Sheffield site. You will handle high-profile medical devices, stay within a clean, organised environment, and work a two-week rotation pattern totaling 37.5 hours per week.

• Perform periodic audits on kits to ensure accuracy and condition.
• Ensure you undertake your duties in line with standard operating procedures, work Instructions and inspection criteria.

This isn’t just a warehouse role. You’ll be responsible for handling high profile products and devices provided to medical professionals for joint replacements. It’s a clean and well organised environment. It’s a 12 month Fixed Term Contract but there’s every likelihood of the role becoming permanent.

Please Note: Over 50% of the activity is computer-based. The rest is physical and scanning of products. You’ll need to be computer literate with a good command of numeracy and literacy.

You’ll work over a two week rotational pattern : 37.5 hours per week

Week 1: 06:30 - 15:00

Week 2: 08:30 - 17:00

You’ll get a 30-minute unpaid break and 2 x 15 minutes paid breaks per day

What you’ll be doing

You will be part of a team who are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of medical and surgical equipment used on and in patients in the operating theatre environment. Attention to detail and compliance to process is essential.

Compensation and benefits:

• Competitive salary based on Trainee level entry. Subject to passing probation salary will increase.
