Job summary

Red Dot Search UK Limited in Bolton is recruiting a Trainee Claims Handler in motor insurance. The role offers full training and funded qualifications with a dedicated in-house trainer and structured support. You will handle motor claims, learn liability concepts, and progress within the team.

You will work 35 hours Mon–Fri, with no evenings or weekends initially, and benefit from a flexible start, hybrid work after probation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in any form.
• Able to stay calm on the phone when customers are unsettled.
• Organised, accurate and able to pick up new computer systems.
• GCSEs English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• Willing to work towards the CII qualification.

Responsibilities

• Take motor claims when they first come in, record details accurately and explain next steps.
• Manage your own caseload of claims by phone and written correspondence.
• Be the point of contact for policyholders and brokers.
• Learn liability concepts to determine fault and causation.
• Flag anything that looks incorrect for review.
