Job summary

Primitas Learning Partnership seeks a motivated Trainee Management Accountant to join the central Finance and Administration team in Lichfield. The role offers exposure to purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, management accounts and budgeting within an educational multi-academy trust.

You will study towards the AAT Level 4 Diploma and may progress to a Level 7 CIMA apprenticeship, with study support from a partner and mentoring from experienced finance leaders.

Qualifications

• A Levels at grades A–C, ideally including Maths, Economics or Business.
• Structured development role with study towards AAT Level 4 Diploma and potential progression to CIMA Level 7.
• Support for study provided through a training partner and mentoring from CIMA-qualified leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support purchase and sales ledgers; perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist in management accounts, budget monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Support audit preparation and financial reporting; collaborate with academy staff and senior leaders.
