Confidential, based in Barking, is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant to join a growing construction and property business. The role offers hands-on experience across purchase ledger, journals, reconciliations, and management reporting, with training and professional development support.

You will work with an experienced finance team, gain exposure to multiple accounting areas, and have clear long-term progression opportunities as you develop your finance career with ongoing study support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills.
• GCSEs or A-Levels in Maths and English.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop in finance.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase ledger processes and supplier payments.
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and journals.
• Support management accounting processes and internal cost recharges.
• Provide basic systems and IT support as needed.
