Job summary

Stannah invites applications for a Trainee Lift Engineer role at our Warrington Service Branch. You will gain hands-on experience maintaining lifts, escalators, and moving walkways, while working with seasoned engineers.

You will progress through structured training toward NVQ qualifications, develop mechanical and electrical skills, and contribute to safe, reliable customer service. Driving licence preferred and a path to a long-term career with Stannah.

Qualifications

You'll receive structured training, work towards industry-recognised NVQ qualifications, and develop valuable mechanical and electrical engineering skills.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday , 8 till 4:45 and Friday 8 till 3:45

• Assist engineers with servicing and maintenance of lifts, escalators, and moving walkways.
• Support repair work and basic fault-finding activities.
• Complete training and qualifications to develop your engineering skills.
• Follow safety procedures while delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and stock to support daily operations.
• Mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
• Good understanding of best-in-class customer service.
• Excellent communication - verbal and written.
• Driving Licence
