Trapeze Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an entry-level IT Support Trainee for an office-based role in the UK. The position emphasizes customer service as you handle incoming service requests, diagnose issues with technology, and maintain security standards across client stacks.

The role is Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with a 3-month probation. Training and development will be provided to support ongoing technical learning and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Computing qualification (or equivalent) or industry-related certification.
• Must demonstrate genuine passion for technology and ongoing personal development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job description

This is an entry level role and previous industry experience is not essential. However, in the absence of hands‑on experience, our client expect candidates to hold a minimum Level 3 Computing qualification (or equivalent), an industry‑related certification (Microsoft or CompTIA), or be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for technology alongside active personal development toward a career in IT. Training and development will be provided as part of the role.

Customer service is of main importance when it comes to our client. Your day-to-day role will be taking incoming service requests from clients while providing excellent customer service. You'll be using your technology skills to diagnose and resolve issues and maintain a healthy technology and security standard across clients' technology stack.

You will work in an extremely fast-paced environment where a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required, even when under extreme pressure.

This is a Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700 office-based role. Additional hours will be expected once you pass your probationary period (3-months) and will be paid at time and a half rate or time in lieu. All additional shifts are on a rota basis.
