Job summary

Global Manufacturing Brand in Corby seeks a Trainee HR Assistant to kick-start a career in Human Resources at their busy manufacturing site. You will support the HR Manager and managers with day-to-day HR tasks, onboarding, recruitment, and records management.

The role offers 33 days holiday, a pension, on-site parking, and dedicated training with a path to CIPD qualification. This is a permanent, Monday–Friday position with standard hours and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Previous administration experience is essential.
• Desire to progress a career in HR within a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting HR team with day-to-day operational HR activities.
• Assisting with recruitment, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates.
• Managing employee onboarding and induction processes.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Preparing contracts, offer letters and other employment documentation.
• Supporting absence management processes and maintaining attendance records.
• Assisting managers with HR administration and employee queries.
• Coordinating training schedules and maintaining training records.
• Supporting employee engagement initiatives and company events.
• Ensuring all HR administration is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
• Assisting with disciplinary, grievance and investigation meetings by preparing documentation and taking notes where required.
