Job summary

Attega Group Ltd in Stockport is hiring a Trainee HGV Drainage Engineer for a full-time, permanent role in the Stockport area. You will operate a High Pressure Water Jetting / Vacuum Tanker Unit and perform drainage maintenance across commercial sites.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence and FULL CPC, demonstrate safety and teamwork, and be prepared for training and development opportunities. Night work and overtime may apply as required.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 Licence is required.
• FULL CPC Qualification is required.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.
• No prior tanker experience – full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting / Vacuum Tanker Unit.

• Work in a full time, permanent capacity in Stockport area.

Basic salary of £32,760 P/A + overtime at time and a half

Full time | Permanent | 50 hour contract per week (1 hour unpaid lunch)

Predominantly Days | Night Work | Early Starts & Stay Away work

You will be responsible for operating a Combination High Pressure Water Jetting / Vacuum Tanker Unit, carrying out a range of drainage maintenance and cleaning tasks across commercial and industrial sites.

Requirements for the HGV Drainage Engineer:

• A valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• FULL CPC Qualification
• A strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
• No prior tanker experience – full training provided
• Full training and certification will be provided in:
• High Pressure Water Jetting
• Confined Space Entry
• Plus, many other industry-recognised courses to support your development
• Night working, additional hours & working away is also required
• The ideal Trainee HGV Drainage Engineer must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and Class 2 HGV licence!
