Job summary

Attega Group is seeking a Tanker Drainage Engineer for the Dartford yard. The position is full-time and permanent, averaging 50 hours per week, with occasional night work and stays away as required. Salary starts at £44,200 per annum with overtime at time and a half.

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Remedial Tanker Operative to join their team.

The main purpose of this Remedial Tanker Operative role is to work in the Remedial team will enable the operative to develop their knowledge with CCTV Surveys, Lining, pipe rehabilitation, extensive drainage investigations works, excavation and repairs etc.

In return, our client is offering a salary starting at to £44,200 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 5am - 5pm but can change depending on works required. Day shifts with 1 week per month required to be nights.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out descale works for below ground drainage, line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry works.
• Emptying of external grease traps.
• Extensive tanker extraction works to Foul and Surface water systems/ Pump stations/ Petrol Interceptors
• Working alongside CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works which will involve fault finding and providing practical solutions to support the client’s needs.
• Support specialist teams with lining, patching and rehabilitation works.
• Generally supporting drainage teams with clearance and blockage works should emergencies arise.
• Picking up emergency tanker drainage callouts on a reactive basis.
• Supporting pumps teams with Foul/Surface water pump station works.
• Ensure correct tipping and waste disposal procedures are followed and adhered to.

The ideal candidate:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC
• All offers made by the client are subject to DBS Checks
• The client performs random drug testing throughout employment and including induction week
• Lunches are unpaid breaks
