Job summary

Metcor is seeking an HGV Trainee Tanker Drainage Engineer to join our reactive drainage team in Dartford. You will travel across Dartford and surrounding areas to perform drainage works on various sites while training for progression.

Candidates with a Class 2 HGV licence are welcome; no drainage experience required as full training will be provided. The role is full-time, 50 hours per week, with a starting salary of £37,000 during training and potential OTE £50,000–£60,000+.

Metcor Group are looking for an HGV Trainee Tanker Drainage Engineer to join our reactive drainage team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Class 2 HGV licence who is looking to build a long-term career in the drainage industry. No drainage experience is required, as full training will be provided.

About the Role

As an HGV Trainee Tanker Drainage Engineer, you will travel across Dartford and the surrounding areas to carry out drainage works at a range of customer sites, including estates, retail parks, shopping centres and office buildings. The role will involve both planned maintenance and emergency response work.

You will receive full training in the drainage industry, including pressure jetting and operating a tanker, while earning a competitive salary of £37,000 per annum during training. OTE of £50,000–£60,000+.

Working Pattern

The role requires flexibility, as shifts may include early morning starts such as 2am, 3am or 4am, nights such as 8pm–4am, and standard working days. Weekend work, overtime and on-call shifts are also available.

The ideal candidate will hold a Class 2 HGV licence and be keen to learn new skills within the drainage industry. You will be reliable, flexible and comfortable travelling between sites across Dartford and the surrounding areas.
