Job summary

Citizens Advice in London is offering an exciting Gateway Assessor role that fast-tracks you through a full Generalist Adviser training programme within five months. You will deliver direct advice to the public and undertake casework on social welfare law issues, while contributing to a range of projects and services.

Upon successful completion of the initial training, you will transfer to a Generalist Advice Caseworker with a starting salary of £36,867 per year.

Qualifications

• You must be a trained Gateway Assessor
• Have an understanding of the advice needs and issues of the local community in a diverse inner-city area
• Understand, empathise with and be committed to the Service’s aims, principles and equal opportunities policies

Gateway Assessor

Once assessed as having satisfactorily completed the initial six months training you will be issued with a new job description as a Generalist Advice Caseworker on a starting salary of £36,867 per annum.
