Job summary

Eurofins Forensic Services (EFS) is the UK's leading forensic service provider, part of Eurofins Scientific. We seek a Forensic Reporter to join the Road Traffic Reporting Team, handling body fluid analyses and expert testimony in criminal cases.

The role demands rigorous training, case management, and collaboration with customers across the UK and Europe. You will work within SOPs and quality standards, report findings accurately, and support with statements while developing methodologies for

Qualifications

• Sufficient laboratory experience to identify and understand issues in case processing terms.
• Good understanding of the analytical techniques used for Road Traffic cases.
• Good general business awareness and understanding of customer requirements.
• Science-based degree required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake training in case types as agreed with mentor/line manager.
• Attend court to give expert testimony following training.
• Draft statements and assist with results to support reporters.
• Ensure work adheres to SOPs, protocols, quality manuals, and policies.
• Maintain awareness of laboratory and reporting quality requirements.
